Chinese Symbol of Double Happiness Symbolism Meaning and Best Symbol Healing Art

The Chinese Symbol of Double Happiness consists of two symbols written side by side and the symbol has its special presence seen in wedding cards and gifts. The symbol indicates two of a kind, lovers, and two families uniting. It is one of my favourite Chinese symbols from the many I have been painting since year 2009 in my paintings. Such a beautiful symbol it brings a surge of joy whenever you view it. No wonder this symbol is considered very auspicious in Chinese and Japanese culture and marriage cards, invitations for marriage, new home doors are painted with this symbol.

The Chinese symbol for Double Happiness has been used in many artefacts, and home decor items and has a universal appeal. It is also written in many forms and designer art forms.

Wikepedia- Double Happiness is a ligature, "囍" composed of 喜喜 – two copies of the Chinese characters 喜 (xǐ) literally means joy, compressed to assume the square shape of a standard Chinese character (much like a real character may consist of two parts), and is pronounced as a polysyllabic Chinese character, being read as 双喜 (shuāngxǐ).

The symbol has been used in ornamental decorations of furniture, artefacts, paintings, feng shui cures, ceramic objects and vases, Even Gold Jewelry and Diamond jewelry is available engraved with this beautiful Double Happiness symbol.

The symbol for me has really special symbolism, no its not just about romantic love. Not only two people but a more deeper meaning with happiness in many other aspects of life. No doubt the symbol indicates love energy and is used to symbolize marriages I feel the symbol also applies to doubling of good health, wealth and prosperity, and so go my intentions always.

Going deep into understanding happiness, it is actually a term, which can be interpreted by different people as differently.  While one may be happy with a thing or occasion the other may still be lonely in a crowd The symbol also helps out in healing the vacuum, or healing the marital luck sector in case of single people.

The Double Happiness symbol painting is a great way to invite feng shui into your bedroom space. Paintings in colours of love help to easen out relationships between the couple and viewing them daily helps to attract positive energies.

For me the symbol has immense emotional appeal and it connects to the senses not only visually but also emotionally. The energy of Two,  Happiness between the two souls,  Happiness here in this world as well as the hereafter, happiness physically as well as mentally, happiness’s in health and well as wealth, happiness indicating two energies  in harmony and togetherness, the Yin and the Yang! It is written harmoniously and looks so elegant and graceful, Two together! 

Written simultaneously as I paint a healing painting I want the energy to go in harmony together. Chinese character for happiness itself written as a beautiful tower looks so majestic and beautiful and when doubling the symbol it forms a mansion of joy. 

I begin writing the symbol of Double Happiness from the base and then move ahead to the top. All symbols are written with pure intentions and lots of love, that is what is the magic ingredient in all my healing paintings, especially Double Happiness symbol art must bring a smile on your face and a dee sense of peace and happiness.

Hidden symbolism has been an interesting and intriguing thought for me and the search on Google emerged fruitful in giving a few answers.  famous artists did use symbology, hidden symbolism and even similar to the titles there were some strange objects and images that may at that time not seem relevant to the title of the  paintings.
Code Hidden in Mona Lisa, The letters LV, when viewed under a microscope Art Historians in Italy have seen under a microscope , a Da Vince Code in the painting. The eyes show letters and numbers not so well understood but  in the  right eye the letter LV may be initials for his name Leonardo Da Vince.

1 wall in every home is considered auspicious and has loads of feng shui energy. In homes where I see happiness, good health prosperity taking a single view shows how their walls are decorated and utilized for attracting good chi.
Walls are in every home as we say, no they are not. Just think about this  from another perspective, When we say walls they have to be solid large walls. When we see a partition or a makeshift wall unit as wall this will  not have the same type of energy.

Strength, confidence, motivation to progress and good health all is influenced by the walls in your homes. There has to be at least one wall in every room that is the lucky one, complete wall made of bricks and cement or stone. Homes without walls are open and do not accumulate nourishing energy as chi passes away from one room to another and has no solid staying force.
Then there are also homes which have the main door facing the open terrace that is divided by glass partition. Too many windows again on every wall in your living room or any room will influence your luck and energy of all inmates. This specially affects wealth which gets no space to sit on.
The main door considered the mouth of your house will attract good energy but is there is no solid wall  to hold strength this will neutralize and even dissolve or totally move out from another space.
It is really essential to have at least one solid wall in every room which can be activated with great feng shui art, motivational and inspirational artworks and artifact for attracting good luck, health , happiness, good relations, mentor luck, travel luck, wealth and prosperity.
If you do not have a solid wall you can add some simple yet effective important feng shui cures and art for balancing the elements in your space. Colors, shapes and images can be added to uplift and store energy in any space.

Understand Different Types of Fire Energy in Paintings Fire For feng shui South Symbolism

Fire is a very important element to activate feng shui sector south. The best and important part of   your home that has the energy to attract fame, recognition and most importantly motivation to work. Fire Paintings, objects, lights, lamps all have fire energy. Understanding the symbolism of fire here is very important if you wish to use this magical cure to attract good luck.
Fires are of different types. Productive and Destructive.  Productive, like candles , lamps, for benefit and destructive like wild fires, home on fire, forest on fire that have negative energy.

Then people reading to have fire burning in south for fame choose to have Altar/Temple there. Again this indicates another  type of fire energy.
While the fire is passive and soothing it  sometimes brings a energy in the human being of that passive relaxing one that is not so good for your work and improvement of business.
People need strong fire desire to work, improve, succeed in life, the type of dragon fire energy. This does not mean that any type of religious fire is bad, its just that it may not give you the desired push required too success in life and work.

 Feng shui of burning old paintings, afetr following feng shui, writing and sharing on feng shui the main description of clutter clearing came upon now .  When we say clutter accumulation and clutter cleaning, the most important aspect blocking energy and progress, as this was going on over the years I took the final great step of burning some of my old paintings of paper.
Small and large , old ones, yes these were close to my heart, but there was one  decision I had to take to keep only my best works as heirloom behind.

 Over the span of fifteen plus years of my spiritual journey in art, there are so many paper works, a path of my self discovery, some special ones that brought smile to my face even now, but had to let go.
I think every artist has to go through this with their art, Yes if possible repaint, recycle and reuse these old artworks but if not it is better to remove them to create space for fresh artworks.

 Mixed emotions, yet a feeling of emptiness and lightness engulfed my heart. Yes it is natural to cry, but then there is the happiness of making way for fresh new ideas, and new art.
In case you are an artist and going through this please take extra care before burning your old art.
1) You can frame them and hang them in your space.
2) You can gift them for free to friends and relatives, they will be happy to decorate their walls with original art.
3) You can cut pieces of large art and make collages , thus making it new.

4) You can repaint them or add some new paper to make them attractive.
5) You can cut large paintings to small sections that look new , abstract and great and frame them with a new identity.

7) Feng shui blocked energy with lots of old artworks that are never displayed or sold is just like clutter and affects progress in career and life.
Meanwhile if you do decide to burn old paintings please see the safety precautions, I have done this on our open terrace garden and used the ashes as feedings for my plants,  that are so happy they are giving out awesum blooms, maybe the Reiki symbols and Happy energy art is giving them more energy and health! especially the fragrant Jasmine!

M F Hussain 100th Birthday, Happy Birthday Sir, M F Hussain, dedicated post to the world class artist by The Red Pilgrim

Maqbool Fida Hussain, dedicated post to the world class artist by The Red Pilgrim a healing artist from India. 
a modernist, painter and film maker, passionate and world renowned international acclaimed, and the founding member of The Progressive Artists Group of Bombay. Tomorrow we celebrate his Hundred Years Birthday,  a Great Artist in the World and History of arts. 

He came to be known as a very successful artist and had begun from  humble beginnings with art,  17^th September- 9 June 2011. His modern paintings were in his cubism style and when they were always with great message and his emotional expressions. He was often referred as The Picasso of India, according to Forbes Magazine, and has a great number , nearly twenty thousand and more paintings to his artists career.

Happy Birthday Sir M F Hussain 

A self taught artist Hussain  began his career painting hoardings and posters for cinemas , and also worked in a toy company for supporting his art career.He is known through out the world for his art, his presentations and expressions of art. No wonder guests from all over the  world coming to India were gifted an original of Hussain , a precious gift!

One of the most celebrated artists of the twentieth century Hussain in his art depicted many topics from Ramamyana, Mahabharat, Gandhi, Mother Teresa and of course his later works , controversial one that depicted religious deities. He was most famous for his horses, which he expressed as Hazrat Ali’s horses and would obsessively paint horses. He had not only done beautiful large numbers of paintings, he also expressed in films and his first film ‘Through the eyes of a painter”  was shown at Berlin Film Festival and won Golden Bear Short Film Award.

He died at the age of 95. He has to his credit not only oil paintings but also sketches , drawings. His art was a blend of cubism and classical Indian styles.

Famous  works include, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Between the Spider and the Lamp, British Raj, Mother India, Bharat Mata, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Maidens Flight, Gaja Gamini.

For his dedication and great artworks he is and will always remain as one of  the Greatest artists of International acclaim in the world. And his art will always find a prominent mention in the history of Art!

The color purple symbolizes a spiritual energy and connects to the heart and soul. It is the beautiful color of the crown chakra , that is the most important chakra for connecting the body and soul to the universal life force. Feng shui Masters, Heavenly luck energy, religious connections and spiritual beings have a stronger aura color of whitest purple.
The History of Reiki goes back to, Saint Germain is an ascender of the age of Aquarians. He helps to heal energy blocks and removes these to assist in healing. During Reiki sessions Reiki Masters ask for aid and assistance from St Germany to help in the difficult cases of energy blocks that prevent Reiki from entering the body for healing. The lucky pot for wealth, abundance and prosperity. pots have since ages been a symbol for good luck Their storing capacities and qualities and their antique appeal give post a symbolic value of symbols of good  luck.
While I love post and have a large collection of good luck pots painted in my precious favorite Chinese and Reiki symbols there are certain simple rules on displaying pot paintings at home and in office-
1) The pot paintings must never be in dull muddy colors, this symbolizes old pots that are empty and stranded.
2) Not all pot paintings are good or symbols of luck. Pot painting must be what you like. and not with some scary images painted over them. horror scary war images will reflect imbalance and disharmony.
