Two roads, taking the quieter ,less traveled pathways! Life always brings options, every second you are given choices to make decisions. Walking on roads brings out clarity in thoughts. Especially if they are quiet in the woods and other people in your life find it strange behavior on your side, but you know you are not lost!

Life an exciting  beautiful mysterious journey ..has to be traveled. no matter how many rumblers, tumblers, or uphill roads come you keep travelling. The fact that there are roads you continue your journey till the end of transformation of your soul.

Letting the inner chaos be accepted with grace and welcoming the unfolding path of the Universe. 

Facing hurdles, but natural, life gives you trying times, go ahead , make the most of it!

Challenges, change are opportunities to excel!

Today went back to the oldest artworks done innocently on small papers in water colours and it set a soul spark. Inspired by Japanese cherry blossom festivals, retouched Painted them with bringing up most precious occasions of families in Japanese and Chinese culture since ancient times, cherry blossom memories , picnics, family love happiness bonding friendships forgiveness togetherness and love. immense joyful cherry blossom festival symbolism. Sakura blessings are immense and she blesses profusely with abundance. 

The beautiful road, the boulevard to a mysterious pathway, the fascinating road. I love roads as they are a symbol of hope, exciting journeys and travel luck. The road I have painted is so pure, clear and beautiful grey. The cherry blossoms indicate a winter or autumn season, with bright green trees on the other side. The road evokes happy feelings. 

 the seat, the empty seat was a welcoming gesture to welcome family children extended families friends... the picnic basket brings so much joy with fruits food and time of eating and bonding together. Yes, I believed in angels and tree spirits then and even do now, the cherry blossoms Sakura ,she blesses immensely if you have a pure heart intentions. that the Universe assists us in different ways, one of the support it offers is in form of true best friends , spirit guides.

Roads, difficult roads,  lead us to the person we are destined to be.

everyone will say you are on the wrong road, you have to silence the mind and follow your heart..The road may have lonely times, many lonely silent struggles that only you know, but trust the Universe, its a beautiful journey ahead for those who search for it!

Travel unfolds a new life all together! 

Roads in paintings are interesting subjects in every artist's life. Roads are simple symbols of adventures, interesting destinations, travelling. There is a lot of depth in roads, and road paintings. the artist is the question that pops out here. Why does an artist paint roads? the particular painting that has roads, maybe broken, crooked, curved, rough, smooth, with pebbles, with rocks, with mountains , with water, the complete subjects revolving roads in art have interesting and different symbolism. 

You will notice that no two paintings on road theme are similar. they are always different. it all depends upon what the artist is going through in life and what the artist wants to depict.

While clear grey smooth roads bring about happiness and harmony in life and a peaceful family life ahead, similarly rough roads bring hurdles in life. About storms with roads and thundering in art, I have always mentioned to be really careful. especially if there are couple walking in the thunderstorm in rain. Yes, people say love over comes all hurdles, but why do you want to attract hurdles? when you have a choice of happiness art!

In ancient old paintings roads used to be painted with vintage cars, cottages and mountains, most of the old road paintings are clear and beautiful landscape subjects. With the new trend of abstracts in art and creative art, the subject of road has gone creative. So we find colourful roads, mixed roads and geometric roads or over lapping roads. Unending roads, confusing abstract roads and even sudden abrupt ending roads. 

Different roads sometimes lead to the same destination. Silent quiet roads also lead to beautiful destinations, even an empty roads leads you somewhere!

Roads in artworks symbolize life and have a Feng shuii effect on career, family life, adventures, travel, finances and your progress. Then you also have surrealistic roads and spiritual roads. These are roads painted with no direct reference to the colours or shape of roads. Soul roads, inner journey roads, and spiritual pathways that are expressed by the artist in their own symbolic way emerging in their art has something totally different and not even related to roads.

Dreams, we all have. Some have grandiose dreams , some have limited dreams and some have simple dreams. Do not think big, be practical, yes, this is what is taught to us all since childhood. The small toddler who walks by is again and again prompted to be careful, protected and limited in their activities  ,  for the fear of getting hurt. This is what moulds us and our thoughts.
The simple art of images and representing our dreams on paper gives so much energy and it directly confronts the Universe  as to what you want for.

Here I am discussing about the price of the art work.

Below each art work or painting the artist has displayed or must display details and description, the medium it is done in, the size, maybe the year of the artwork and also the price. You select an artwork for purchase and want to finalize the deal by clicking.

Later on checkout you are surprised, delivery charges?  you have to pay transport charges and you are astonished by the rate of the painting which has gone up suddenly, and you think  The painting you bought from a local art gallery would have been better! this method of online art buying is in bad taste and creates a negative experience for you which you transfer to your friends and colleagues.

For this you have to consider all the costs incurred during the purchase of anything online. It is always understood that you have to pay certain charges for transport if the painting is from an artist of a  foreign country. Mostly transport in the same city maybe free, but for a different state or country it may have certain extra charges.

"this is not the colours shown in the photograph' " the artwork received is just a art print on paper" " the painting is unframed, now we have to pay extra money for the right frame" yes, these are bound to happen if the website does not display details of each artwork, and people tend to just look at cheaper price and buy. 

Buying paintings online is an easy way to bring art into your home but very often we over see the aspect of the size of art purchased. What happens then? you end up either with a very small artwork that gets lost on your wall or a very large painting that covers your whole wall and looks very over bearing!

 Personally as an artist  for more than two decades I always  mention the size, year and medium of the artwork below each image of the painting. It is but natural for any individual to first consider the visual impact of the painting. Then comes the price and finally the colours if they match with your decor of the room it has to be displayed in. If the size is not mentioned it is better to email the art website or the artist and ask for details of the artwork, they would be happy to answer.

Biggest mistake, we only see the visual impact of the art! most of the times cheap paintings uploaded are edited to brightness and displayed with finesses to bring out perfection for the viewers. the actual painting may not be such. 

Fact is all photos look the same online and even a small artwork will cover the page and a larger sized painting may look small with cropped image. Personally I also am surprised with this photos of paintings even after making art for more than twenty years. 
We often forget the size aspect and finalize the deal and are happy to own an original artwork. This is one of the most important weak points of online viewing and purchasing art,  that you do not get the correct representation, perspective of the size of the painting. 
You must see below each artwork and calculate in terms of your wall the size of the artwork and how much space it will occupy. Consider any object of the similar size or take a newspaper or cloth piece of that size and hang it on that wall. By this you will understand the correct visual impact the size of artwork will give on putting up on that particular wall.
Certain aspect are better discussed if not mentioned on the website before making the purchase since size is a matter which cannot be changed and however much you may like the painting and works of that artist you cannot create space. So always select paintings which can be of a comfortable to display in your living room or which ever room you want it to. Online purchases are hassle free and will help you appreciate and buy art from within the comforts of your home.
Why, I always make this a point with clarity, even my art buyers also share room wall photos, even decor to see that the art blends or pops up in their home decor. This is better than buying something impulsively and then having the artwork end up in storage or attic!

Basically with the famous old ancient mythical mysticism, cats with their nine lives are symbolic of rebirth. Resurrection. Change and new beginnings. As their are also associated with darkness, they are considered guardians of darkness, night.

In childhood I would get scared with black cats but knowing now that they represent guidance and protection from your ancestors is a respite. Beliefs about cats still continue, people avoid cat crossing pathway, people feel negative spirits are lurking if cats are seen, or that when they cry there may be a death news soon. Well, it can for once be that the cat is pregnant, or in some  pain that they are crying in cold winter! yes, once I was so scared but later found a stray cat gave birth to cute kittens after the crying nights. I guess we must break the negative thought patterns and start loving and caring for animals!
