Abstract Flowers and Vases Paintings in Water Colour Year 2002 and 2003

Studying different strokes and using water colors led to many floral paintings. the loading of brush and movement of the brush led to many discoveries in painting with water colours. I use less water when doing painting with water colours as the effect becomes too light and sometimes after drying the painting looks dull and flat.

Water Colour paintings on Paper Year 2002

The year 2002, 2003 ans 2004 saw many paintings done using water colours on paper. The beautiful white blank paper and the flowy nature of water all came handy to study different strokes and abstracts in colours. Gradually the strokes changed into lines and forms and shapes. The study was tough as there are so many limitations to water colours along with the plus point of quick drying and light feel of water color works.

Symbolic art was also easier with the lightness of water and of course the price of art materials is also low as compared to oils paints and canvas. I did strokes, vases, flowers, lines, geometric shapes and many more artworks using water color as a medium for evolving.

Pencil sketches done in year 2006 had still life and many pots along with flowers.
My hand at abstraction in pencil was one of the aims that I tried doing using pencil as a medium for painting. I was on the path of leaving colours from my life and even to the point that would even wear black, and would often end up having many blacks in my wardrobe. Trying very hard to let go colours and doing pencil sketches only made my will more stronger that there was no life without colour! God has made this beautiful universe that has its identity with colours! Nature has so many colours that even your whole life you keep studying there will still be some new shade or hue which you have not seen. Observing nature carefully and many quiet years of my life , sitting and meditating in our terrace garden, under the open sky, observing each leaf, each petal of new blooms and every bird and butterflies that pondered over out garden, the life of insects and the life of plants, their growth patterns , the survival of nature all this were lessons and a part of my artist journey that led me towards doing healign art.

Nature is our best teacher, and every artist will swear by this, just that people travel to learn and I go inside and leave the outside, the inner journey of understanding self, the soul healing which is essential part of any healers life..
Understanding art by doing pencil sketches is a major part of my artist journey. The use of pencil gives total freedom and using various strokes confidently without any restrictions. using cloth for shading purposes, strokes using different pressure and pencils of different numbers all helped to make pencil sketches to life. And you can make beautiful art without messing up with paint! though do be prepared for black hands (pencil lead)!

Roses are one of the most beautiful and fragrant flowers and no doubt they are the king of flowers. Every artist has painted at least a few paintings of roses and even I did a few floral paintings in the year 2002, 2003 and 2004. These paintings were done without using any reference photos or ideas and I have never been able to use a photo as reference as I cannot follow any guidelines while I paint. Inspirations come from my terrace garden rose flowers with their heavenly fragrances.

When I look at any picture or in nature the first thing that strikes me is colour! and only colour. all the remaining other sense hit later on after the visual impact first. I am trying to bring this in my artworks and I do not know when this aim will be achieved though I am making baby steps one at a time.
Among my latest artworks in the year 2010 and 2011 also has some floral paintings though they are more of sunflowers, zinnias and lotus flowers.
Rose paintings are done on plain white paper using oil paints.8x10.5 Inches. I still have these precious ones with me.

I have painted rose flowers using different colours and even tried painting black rose, rather a darkest rose, and blue rose. The fact that I have been observing things coming up in my life , that which I have painted years back is again coming true. These paintings have been done in my early years of artist career and now I do have many rose bushes and plants. And of course the darkest rose flower, one which I have picked up during an plant exhibition takes prideful place in our garden.

The pink rose bush and the orange roses all our blooming in our garden and as artists use photos for reference for their paintings I think I paint first and then get these in my life later.

All this for artists imaginations and working symbols as well as healing energies. When you imagine you create cells that are a part of your future. these cells carry images to your future and represent them in physical form. Even during Reiki healing the healer will use symbols that will tap the aura at a different level than only the physical one. The astral level is where all our problems exist at the beginning , that which we do not know and this later on progresses from each layer in our aura and is represented in physical form later on. The seed of any problems exists even before we know or are aware of it. It is here that when healing work is done the problem will be tackled before erupting. , at its base level. And one can plant their future by controlling their thoughts. healing paintings are one way to connect to your inner soul and the energies present in symbols and the healer intentions will continue giving life long healing.

A true artist can imagine and use thoughts to reflect future and it is the artists representation of dreams that are fulfilled. This has happened with many other paintings as of the 'windows of the soul' 'the large pot' and many other artworks.

Abstract paintings by Healing Artist Year 2000

After painting few floral paintings in the year 2000 came the great moment of discovery. As I discovered the sheer texture and thickness of oil paint I started painting directly from tubes! my first major break through in abstracts!

The process was energetic, healing and out of this world. The paintings began pouring and my hands were numb. I did a lot of paintings and by lot I mean lots!

The first paintings were done in series of 8 and I called it 'the evolution series' evolving as an artist, evolution form of a painting and evolution as in human race. the paintings are self explanatory and though now in bad condition they were done on paper , I have preserved them for sentimental purpose.

From then I have left doing series as I cannot concentrate on one topic for more and also I have noticed my art going from bad to worse doing the same things over and over! so every painting is unique and done only once, and I move on excel now I have done a few paintings on feng shui series but they are totally different paintings using different themes and topics.

Abstract art is very healing and there are no limitations and they flow according to your mood. the colours selected will depend upon your mind status and the strokes will be according to your nature, the whole process of painting abstracts is a very spiritual journey and with each painting the artist travels into space.
