Pink light the divine light of the universe, which is absolutely out of this world feeling, divine blessings are always represented by the color pink. This symbolic reiki healing painting is done using a over lapping technique.  As I was  in the process of trying out techniques to find my style of painting, this is what took me back to teacher training class. The journal of techniques in painting I had done on pencil, charcoal, painting, crayons, water color, sago painting, bottle top painting, spray painting, thread painting   and many more.
Kindergarten , We were then fascinated with colors. simple Crayons played a major role in putting color to our scribblings and drawings. Using crayons made  of wax and water color for this technique I have made many paintings on paper where I have used crayons for drawing and covered them with water color wash. Using dark black color in water color almost makes the paintings glow, loved this, maybe will try out in some later years this technique , who knows.This painting is in water color with a  layer of wax turning it into a more spiritual fantasy work.
Usually I do not make figurative art as spirituality divine is much getting over the physical body, and focussing more on the soul. The body being just a home, a temple, a   boat, a place for the soul to exist and which is going to perish, and the soul, the shy soul,  lies behind the cover and emerges gradually ....
Earth energy , the roots that help us to get the mother earth energy and keeps us grounded and well balanced. The divine energy, pink shower of light from divine sources, a blessing, a purification a  shower of divine light, divine love.

The length of head hair, I love long hair, a symbol of femininity and female form,  a symbolic representation of the dedication and tapasya , towards the path of enlightenment, a symbolic representation of being away from worldly pleasures and desires.
The pink shower is a painting done on paper  in water color and then covered  with a layer of wax crayons. The figurative painting is one of a  sort as I hardly have tried this genre, post to 'selling happiness' and 'music flowing' and the latest one an symbolic figurative abstract 'my Green Tara".
While on this spiritual journey of The Red Pilgrim, as I continue to paint healing art....I wish to make simple, colorful,  understandable art, art that heals.

The End of Year 2012, Forgiveness from the Universe

As the year 2012 comes to an end and we all try to assess, analyse, remember incidences, sad, happy, as some friends added some subtracted, I have to, we each have to thank God a plenty. Do remember to count your blessings and the world will be a much better place to live in. With the rumours of the mayan calendar predicting dooms day 21 Dec 2012, would life be the same if you knew this was the last day of your life.
I am sure we would pause to smell the fresh flowers, speak with every one with a smile and do away with all negativity, forgive and forget and live each second to its fullest.
Karma is always at work, what goes out comes back to you. Most of the problems in this life are either past issues not solved or past lives karma not cleared. Take the decision now and clear off all your past karmic issues, feel light and at peace.
healing paintings are just one way to clear off all bad karma of past years and past lives. The symbols used in abstract symbolic paintings help individual to accept and forgive and forget. the universe has everything in abundance and you just have to tap this unlimited source.
Feeding birds and taking care of plants is the easiest way to connect with nature and the universe. You may make it a habit to feed birds regularly and this is proved to clear off past karma. You may set up a bird house, a bird feeder, a bird bath or just spread seeds for them to eat. do charity whatever it is possible to the underprivileged. Another way to clear off past karma is to feed fishes with puffed rice with the intention of forgiveness from the universe.
As art is open to criticism and critiques I understand that painting symbolic healing art may be termed as hocus pocus, my karma over flowing on the canvas, or my inner need for creativity. I do not wish to prove something to the world, let the work continue to speak for itself. meanwhile I pray for world peace, happiness and prosperity.

especially the sky, at different times of the day and night, sometimes middle of the night when they(stars) are at their best, shining pure bright, in the clear night sky, and the stars.. communicating, there is a belief that each star connects to you and is called the Core Star, which in Reiki healing we have to connect and make it shine, make the core star shining bright in the universe. Fascinated with core stars in Reiki we have to make our core star shine, that is our ultimate aim in life for this soul journey.

You will be amazed at the wonders in the sky and never is the sky same at any moment, you will notice there is so much happening, as a child I used to observe the shapes of the moving clouds, they had meanings, they had messages and forms and yet I do observe ,the only thing now is I know the earth is moving round and round! 

If you are confused with life or have any questions do sit looking at the sky for few minutes and you will find answers, sometimes there are elephants seen, you may notice the winged horse galloping in the clouds and also angels with wings swaying happily. Ships may float over the clouds on a journey and there are palaces and castles seen among the clouds if you look for. I also would sit for hours staring at the night sky from my terrace garden. stars look so beautiful, it seems the same places when you look you find them. Then I read about them, the stars they are always there. they do not change places, it is just the sunlight that over powers them and dims their light and as sun sets they again shine brighter. The constellations fascinated me and the stars in Orion's belt, three in a line and Cereus that shines brightest, here the inspirations comes out on oil sketch paper in form of golden rainbow along with the core star shining brightest. And of course my signature style, Chinese symbols, for total happiness and good luck. 

Inspired by core star I have painted few spiritual paintings to activate our core star. Remember the aim of every soul is to live to its maximum potential. This can be achieved by activating the core star. reiki rt assists in this journey. 

Core star activation tips-

With reiki I have understood the core star is a star , a golden light, just like sun shining from the solar plexus chakra. The mantra to activate this star is "rumm". In Reiki We also have specific exercises to activate the core star. Apply oil to your stomach, move 24 times clock wise and 24 times anti clockwise. The first step unblocks energy and second one seals energy. 

Visualization is also very powerful. imagine a golden ball of light shining, bursting with energy and the more often you do this with words followed about your core star shining, you will find so much energy flowing through you and also personal power activation. 

When you shine your core star you find energy, opportunities, health wealth and success in all aspects of life. Make your core star shine!

Divine luck as the name suggest is a symbolic healing painting to attract divine blessings from the universe. The universe has everything in abundance ,we just have to tap this. The intention of healing paintings is to bring about a focused mind in positive direction towards good prosperity and balanced living. Often the body and the past karmic issues hinder the progress of the individual and this is what we often term as luck.
